What is the PST?
The physical screening test or “PST” is used by the military to test ones overall level of fitness in order to serve in special operations units such as the Navy SEALS or Army Rangers. It is a fundamental part of military training programs. The “PST” tests a candidate’s cardio, core body strength and endurance levels. Successful completion of the test indicates to the military community that a person has what it takes to begin a rigorous special operations training program.
