Great American Fitness Challenge Medals Designed By Ashworth Awards
Lexington, KY—BrainBox Intelligent Marketing and the Great American Fitness Challenge are proud to announce the design of the specially designed medals to be given to participants and winners in the inaugural Great American Fitness Challenge, which will be held on June 13 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.
The new medals, which are specially designed for the inaugural race only, have been designed and created by Ashworth Awards, the same company that provides over 30,000 medals annually for the Boston Marathon and numerous other nationally recognized events.
Every participant that completes the 15K race, the Open Steeplechase and the Elite Steeplechase will receive an inaugural medal at the finish line. The first three finishers in each of those events will also receive a special gold, silver or bronze medal, also created by Ashworth Awards.
Open to the general public, the Great American Fitness Challenge is a running and endurance series comprised of four separate races and designed for all condition levels. Created by BRAINBOX Intelligent Marketing from 15 years of fitness event experience across the country, and utilizing fitness aspects perfected in conjunction with the Navy SEALs, the Great American Fitness Challenge promises participants and spectators an amazing fitness experience and the chance to connect with the community of fitness in a new and engaging way.
The four races include two on the “flat course”–a 5K and a 15K–and two run over the Park’s Steeplechase Course–the Open and Elite divisions. The Open and Elite races feature obstacles previously contested solely by equine athletes and their riders, and promise to be both entertaining and testing. Former Navy SEALs have been invited to “inspire” the elite competitors.
Participants who register by May 8th will pay $30 for the 5K event, $55 for the 15K or Open Steeplechase and $75 for the Elite Steeplechase. Registration for the Fitness Challenge itself and for vendors is available on the website at GAFitnessChallenge.com.
